GSSI has reached a long-term agreement with Hamm AG, the world’s leading roller manufacturer, to integrate a new sensor to their digital compaction assistant Smart Compact for tandem rollers.
For over 35 years, GSSI has been at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for the transportation industry, offering non-destructive products that provide critical data on layer thickness, bridge deck condition, rebar quality, tunnel voids, and asphalt density. Our technologies allow you to assess asphalt thickness and density safely from your vehicle—without closures or coring—saving you time and improving efficiency.
CONTRACTORS:
- Bid with high confidence
- Ensure lower warranty/maintenance costs
- Protect your crew by reducing or eliminating dangerous coring
- Defend the quality of your work
ROAD OWNERS:
- Longer-lasting roads give you more money for other projects or more time to chip away at your backlog

NON-DESTRUCTIVE, NON-NUCLEAR ASPHALT DENSITY EVALUATION
PaveScan® RDM 2.0 provides on-site, real-time, continuous asphalt density measurements so you can quickly and easily monitor density of in-place asphalt. Real-time data allows users to be proactive with quality and increase the opportunity for project incentives.
Just a 1% reduction in asphalt compaction could cost millions in future repair costs.
AASHTO Accepted: PP 98-19 PaveScan RDM Technology

POWERFUL QC TOOL FOR THE LAB AND THE PAVING SITE
PaveScan Mix Design Module (MDM) is an innovative laboratory tool designed to correlate asphalt mix dielectric and asphalt density. This correlation can be quickly and easily used by the PaveScan RDM 2.0 for real-time compaction mapping of in-place asphalt. MDM can be used to spot deviations in moisture in the mix to ensure problems in plant process are spotted and fixed before the need for costly in-situ replacement or disincentives.
AASHTO Certified: Complies with T414-14 for laboratory dielectric correlation to compaction.

QUICK AND EFFECTIVE ROAD ANALYSIS SURVEYS
RoadScan™ 30 system is a non-destructive evaluation tool for quickly and accurately determining pavement layer thickness. RoadScan 30 can collect data at high resolution not obtainable using other labor-intensive methods. RoadScan data can be acquired at highway speeds, eliminating the need for lane closures and providing a safer working environment.
