Meet the GSSI Operations Team

We would like to introduce you to our Operations Team that works tirelessly in the background to produce and support the many GSSI products used by our customers all over the world. We hope you enjoy getting to know the largest team at GSSI! Marc, the VP of Operations, and the entire Operations team maintain a positive, fun culture with a passion for making great products and providing outstanding customer support.  

Dozens of GSSI products, plus their supporting carts and accessories, are proudly designed, excellently built, then tested and inspected to be at the highest quality levels at our headquarters in Nashua, NH, USA. Building great products and supporting our fantastic customers and their equipment is the primary focus of our Operations Team. Our 2023 highlights were transitioning the Flex NX® and NX25™ to manufacturing and shipping them to customers that are now revolutionizing concrete inspections worldwide.  Did you know that 28 team members handle 8 different main functions that make up Operations? 

They include:  

Customer Service: As it should be, it all starts with our customers. Brandon, Olga and Wendy handle customer calls, parts orders, new equipment orders, repair orders, shipping documents, transportation logistics, and the daily support required for all of these services. 

Purchasing/Receiving: Mark and Will handle all of our material planning to support customer parts and repair sales as well as getting quotes and placing purchase orders to obtain parts for manufacturing and engineering and even supplies and services throughout the company. In addition, they ensure the proper receipt and distribution of every purchase made by GSSI. 

Inventory: Iris and Sean maintain two warehouse spaces holding millions of dollars in inventory. They issue material to production kits, pick sales orders, provide a repair part or parts for engineering purposes. They also cycle count parts daily to make sure our system is correct when we tell a customer that it is in stock! 

Manufacturing Engineering: Jon and Ben work closely with engineering to transition products into production. With the high technical level of our products, they focus much of their time on test methods and processes as well as test and assembly process improvements. In addition, they offer daily engineering support to all areas of Operations to solve issues and develop continuous improvement projects that keep GSSI at a high level of efficiency. 

Production: Lorayne manages the assembly and test teams and plans our production. Trudy, Jean, John and Leo are highly experienced assemblers and even do a base level of in-process product testing. Josh, Rich and Jim test our products over temperature, on the bench and using our custom, inground test pits to ensure proper operation. In addition, they commission every product by end user location prior to Glyn packing up the orders on our dock in preparation to make their journey. 

Quality: Jay runs the Quality team and takes part in every quality function, but also has responsibility for product compliance, including organizing product testing and ensuring GSSI meets all government regulations. Liviu has an immense load of quality inspections, but can count on help from Ted when he isn’t focused on his duty of failure analysis engineering. 

Service and Technical Support: Scott is known by our customers worldwide for his immense product experience. Myles provides outstanding technical and software support while Mike, Bruce, Erick, and Keith handle repairs, technical advice and loaners to keep our customer’s running. 

Facilities: Our 75,000 sq ft headquarters keeps Frank and others busy trying to make sure that our beautiful facility looks and operates at the highest levels.
