Description: We are testing the radar properties of layers of ice and Martian soil simulants in the lab in order to improve interpretation of NASA spacecraft observations of ice deposits on Mars. This study is being conducted at the SPIRAL (Subsurface Planetary Investigations with Radar and AnaLogs) Lab at Purdue University.
