This two-day class covers the field operation of the Profiler EMP-400 unit. It is an introductory course and no prior experience with EM tools is assumed. This course is offered at GSSI Headquarters in Nashua, NH. Students will participate in a hands-on learning session focusing on system setup, survey considerations, data download and basic interpretation. A third-party software package, Surfer, is used for generating contour maps. Many students find it useful to become familiar with Surfer prior to attending the class.
