Territory Manager Canada

Reports To: Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Employment Status: Full time employee/exempt, or contractor
Date: November, 2011

Position Summary: The Territory Manager will oversee all activities with respect to business development and target attainment in the assigned territory. The Territory Manager is the primary interface for all correspondence with end-use customers in the assigned territory. Additionally, the Territory Manager may be called upon to provide training support to end-use customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Responsive to all customer inquiries for commercial and technical support
    • Conduct on premise product demonstrations as necessary
    • Organize participation in key territory trade shows
    • Track customer activities into CRM database
    • Draft a territory plan aimed at attaining the annual bookings objective. The plan should identify development plans, key marketing initiatives - trade shows, customer seminars, technical training, etc.
    • Communicate competitive and relevant product requirements from the field back to Marketing

Key Skills: The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate information (conceptual, practical) to all skill levels. The candidate should possess advanced computer skills, including a high level of proficiency in MS Office. Visual manufacturing software is a plus.

Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree, preferably in Archaeology, Geology, Geophysics or Physics, and a minimum of 5 years sales experience with ground penetrating radar.

 

Software Design Engineer (C++/OpenGL)

This position is accountable for developing of high quality user interface software code for the real-time data acquisition systems. The individual must be able to meet deadlines scheduled together with the hardware-engineering and sales departments.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science (EE or CS),  at least 3 years’ experience in Windows UI design using C++ language,  strong oral and written communication skills, and experience with OpenGL or DirectX.  Must be passionate about C++ and STL, and have the ability to learn new information quickly. This position reports to the Manager of Software Engineering. US Citizenship.
